Terra Cotta Patching & Restoration Products

RL-Series latex-modifiers are unique, reactive acrylic additives designed to enhance the performance of Portland cement-based materials. When added to cement-based mortars, patches, plasters and coatings, RL-Series latex modifiers improve mechanical performance, workability, adhesion and resistance to freeze-thaw and harsh environmental exposures.

Edison Custom SYSTEM 45 products are two-component, latex-modified, cementitious compounds used to produce highly durable and compatible aesthetic repairs to stucco, stone, masonry and concrete.

SPEC-JOINT 46 is a series of pre-colored, prepackaged, lime and cement-lime mortars for use in new construction and restoration. Lime mortar is formulated to match traditional historic mortars, and cement-lime mortars are formulated in accordance with ASTM C-270 specifications to provide consistent, reliable results in both performance and appearance. SPEC-JOINT 46 is simply mixed with water prior to use, and is applied in accordance with Standard Procedures for use of masonry mortar.

SYSTEM 49-CPBA is a two-component, latex-cement primer and bonding agent designed to protect steel reinforcement from corrosion while promoting adhesion between patching compounds and concrete and steel substrates. It is an odorless, non-flammable, waterborne system which is essentially non-hazardous in storage and handling.

PUMP-X53 is a multi-purpose, low modulus, moderate strength filler used for filling cavities, voids and cracks from a minimum of ¼” width up to approximately 18 inches.

THIN-FILL 55  is a latex-modified reprofiling mortar for application of thin-section patches of 1/32 to 1/4 inch depth while maintaining excellent adhesion, strength, breathability and resistance to cracking.THIN-FILL 55 provides smooth finishes which can also be further polished to repair glazed terra cotta or polished stone profiles.

Waterborne, reactive silane-siloxane water repellents reduce water absorption in porous substrates without affecting permeability or appearance.

Edison SYSTEM 90-Series sealers are reactive treatments designed for maximum performance and exterior durability in protection of on-grade and above-grade stone, concrete and masonry. Surfaces treated with SYSTEM 90 products are sealed against a wide range of chemical and weather exposures, including acid rain, melting snow, freeze-thaw, de-icing salts, air pollutants, wind driven rain and a variety of other materials.Pigmented treatments combine all the performance of 90-Series sealers with the aesthetic benefits of a durable semi-transparent stain.

AQRYL-X 200 is a high performance, very-low VOC coating designed to provide exceptional water-resistance, vapor permeability and maximum durability.  AQRYL-X 200 develops high bond strength to a wide variety of substrates under dry and damp conditions, and retains high performance even after extended moisture exposures.

EDISON AQUATHANE UA-210 products are multi-purpose, high-performance, waterborne polyurethane- based coatings which can be applied to natural stone. They are breathing, low in odor, VOC-Compliant, fast drying, reactive, single component products. Cured films are tough, flexible, and resistant to abrasion and intermittent exposure to water and many chemicals.

AQUA-SPEX 220 is a specialty coating system designed to provide multi-color finishes in a single, simple application. They are based on clear, high-performance, highly durable, water-borne polyurethane coatings into which color specks of varying sizes and colors have been dispersed. The coating can be used to simulate multi-colored granite and marble.

SIL-QUATHANE 222 is a water-borne, high-performance silicone/aliphatic polyurethane hybrid elastomeric coating. It combines the extreme water resistance and reduction in water absorption rate of high-performance silicone elastomer with the abrasion, chemical, and weather resistances of aliphatic polyurethane.

Waterborne, vapor-permeable primer promotes adhesion to smooth, non-porous, glazed, previously coated and other hard-to-bond surfaces.

Primer 241 is a Reactive, UV-stable, water-resistant, self-crosslinking, vapor permeable 100% acrylic emulsion primer.

EverKote 300 coatings are waterborne inorganic paints and stains based on potassium silicate binders. Potassium silicate masonry paints have been in use for over a century to provide extremely durable, breathable color coatings on all types of mineralbased substrates, including stone, masonry, concrete and cement plaster (stucco).Two standard grades of are available: Penetral Low Viscosity, SemiTransparent Stains and Patinar Medium Viscosity, Opaque Coatings

Primer 342 is a low viscosity, vapor permeable acrylic emulsion primer. It is used for penetrating and conditioning porous or friable surfaces prior to coating with Elastowall 351 breathable masonry coatings. It has also been used as a pre-treatment for aiding in the drying out of deeply saturated, thick section concrete and masonry structures.

FLEXI-WELD 520 and 520-T are two-component, moisture insensitive, high strength 100% solids epoxy adhesives for general purpose bonding to a wide variety of substrates, including stone, masonry and dry or damp concrete.

E-Wash 30 is a multi-surface non-ionic building wash for safe outdoor use. Provided as a concentrate, E-WASH 30 is versatile enough for general cleaning of lightly soiled surfaces (when diluted) or as a heavy-duty degreaser concentrate to address greasy and oily soiled surfaces. It is designed to remove grease, oil, dirt, wax, ink, salts, residues and heavy soils from building surfaces, walls, floors, parking areas, outdoor patios, and other hard surfaces.
