Architectural Coatings

RL-Series latex-modifiers are unique, reactive acrylic additives designed to enhance the performance of Portland cement-based materials. When added to cement-based mortars, patches, plasters and coatings, RL-Series latex modifiers improve mechanical performance, workability, adhesion and resistance to freeze-thaw and harsh environmental exposures.

ROSENDALE 14S are custom-matched, pre-packaged natural cement-based plasters for repair or replacement of historic renders and stuccos. It is prepared in conformance with traditional recipes for natural cement renders, which were widely used in the 19th and early 20th Centuries in North America. Stuccos based on natural cement have endured for more than 150 years, even under severe coastal service exposures, and feature high vapor permeability and low modulus of elasticity.

Rosendale Whitewash 15W is a series of custom-matched, pre-packaged coatings based on natural cement or natural cement-gauged lime. The coatings formulations incorporate traditional paint and whitewash recipes specified in 19th and early 20th Century U. S. Government specifications for durable whitewash. They are prepared as fully formulated, ready-to-use coatings for historic masonry substrates such as brick, stucco, stone and natural cement concrete. Rosendale Whitewash 15W features high vapor permeability, tenacious adhesion and low modulus of elasticity.

EXPO 43 is a polymer-modified cement-based coating designed for use in thin-section decoration, texturing and weatherproofing applications. This material provides aesthetically pleasing surfaces for building finishes, masonry coating, stucco and patching.

Edison Custom SYSTEM 45 products are two-component, latex-modified, cementitious compounds used to produce highly durable and compatible aesthetic repairs to stucco, stone, masonry and concrete.

DECK-TOP 47 and 47-RC are two-part, latex modified, concrete patching and resurfacing compounds designed for high-performance in thin-section topping applications. DECK-TOP applications of 1/8″ to ¼” thickness withstand heavy vehicular traffic, impact and vibration without loss of adhesion or rapid wear.

SYSTEM 49-CPBA is a two-component, latex-cement primer and bonding agent designed to protect steel reinforcement from corrosion while promoting adhesion between patching compounds and concrete and steel substrates. It is an odorless, non-flammable, waterborne system which is essentially non-hazardous in storage and handling.

CEM-PLAST 54 is a series of pre-colored, prepackaged cement plasters for use in new construction and restoration. They are formulated in accordance with ASTM C 926 specifications to provide consistent, reliable results in both performance and appearance.

THIN-FILL 55  is a latex-modified reprofiling mortar for application of thin-section patches of 1/32 to 1/4 inch depth while maintaining excellent adhesion, strength, breathability and resistance to cracking.THIN-FILL 55 provides smooth finishes which can also be further polished to repair glazed terra cotta or polished stone profiles.

Waterborne, reactive silane-siloxane water repellents reduce water absorption in porous substrates without affecting permeability or appearance.

Edison SYSTEM 90-Series sealers are reactive treatments designed for maximum performance and exterior durability in protection of on-grade and above-grade stone, concrete and masonry. Surfaces treated with SYSTEM 90 products are sealed against a wide range of chemical and weather exposures, including acid rain, melting snow, freeze-thaw, de-icing salts, air pollutants, wind driven rain and a variety of other materials.Pigmented treatments combine all the performance of 90-Series sealers with the aesthetic benefits of a durable semi-transparent stain.

LiquiDirt 94 is a durable, high-permeability stain and faux finishing treatment designed for application to on-grade and above-grade stone, masonry, mortars, stucco and concrete. It is used for”aging” of new masonry replacements or repairs, to change color of new or existing masonry units, or to overcome fading or staining in original materials.

Waterborne silicate consolidants strengthen friable stone, stucco and concrete.

AQRYL-X 200 is a high performance, very-low VOC coating designed to provide exceptional water-resistance, vapor permeability and maximum durability.  AQRYL-X 200 develops high bond strength to a wide variety of substrates under dry and damp conditions, and retains high performance even after extended moisture exposures.

EDISON AQUATHANE UA-210 products are multi-purpose, high-performance, waterborne polyurethane- based coatings which can be applied to natural stone. They are breathing, low in odor, VOC-Compliant, fast drying, reactive, single component products. Cured films are tough, flexible, and resistant to abrasion and intermittent exposure to water and many chemicals.

AQUA-SPEX 220 is a specialty coating system designed to provide multi-color finishes in a single, simple application. They are based on clear, high-performance, highly durable, water-borne polyurethane coatings into which color specks of varying sizes and colors have been dispersed. The coating can be used to simulate multi-colored granite and marble.

SIL-QUATHANE 222 is a water-borne, high-performance silicone/aliphatic polyurethane hybrid elastomeric coating. It combines the extreme water resistance and reduction in water absorption rate of high-performance silicone elastomer with the abrasion, chemical, and weather resistances of aliphatic polyurethane.

Waterborne, vapor-permeable primer promotes adhesion to smooth, non-porous, glazed, previously coated and other hard-to-bond surfaces.

Primer 241 is a Reactive, UV-stable, water-resistant, self-crosslinking, vapor permeable 100% acrylic emulsion primer.

High-gloss, chemical and water-resistant waterborne epoxy coating for floors, walls, machinery surfaces. Suitable for continuous water immersion after cure, may be applied to damp or “green” concrete.

EverKote 300 coatings are waterborne inorganic paints and stains based on potassium silicate binders. Potassium silicate masonry paints have been in use for over a century to provide extremely durable, breathable color coatings on all types of mineralbased substrates, including stone, masonry, concrete and cement plaster (stucco).Two standard grades of are available: Penetral Low Viscosity, SemiTransparent Stains and Patinar Medium Viscosity, Opaque Coatings

Primer 342 is a low viscosity, vapor permeable acrylic emulsion primer. It is used for penetrating and conditioning porous or friable surfaces prior to coating with Elastowall 351 breathable masonry coatings. It has also been used as a pre-treatment for aiding in the drying out of deeply saturated, thick section concrete and masonry structures.

ELASTO WALL 351 is a permanently flexible breathable masonry coating designed to waterproof and decorate vertical and sloped above-grade surfaces, including all types of natural stone, and including walls exhibiting small working cracks. It has higher vapor permeability than some mineral coating products, and can be applied over a wide variety of previous coatings and treatments.
ELASTO MASTIC 352 is a knife-grade, higher solids formulation designed for pretreatment of surface defects and cracks prior to general coating application. Depressions and defects are simply “spackled”, and then a 350-Series coating is applied after drying.
ELASTO-TONE 353 is a highly permeable finish system for economical color coatings and “touch-up” applications. Based on the same chemistry as ELASTO WALL 351, it features high elongation and low temperature flexibility, while offering greater economy, due to lower build and higher application rate.
ELASTO-FILL 354 is a higher solids, lightweight version of ELASTO-MASTIC 352. It is used where higher builds of filler are desired, with lower shrinkage.

Low viscosity, odorless, 100% solids, self-priming flexible epoxy coating. Used as elastomeric primer for rigid epoxies, as flexible hardcoat over 500-U membranes, or for mechanical room and industrial floor membranes.

Low viscosity, flexible, odorless primer, bonds to ceramic and vinyl tile, wood, smooth concrete, oil-contaminated concrete and metal, many previous epoxy coatings.

FLEXI-GARD 500-N is a 100% solids, odorless, VOC-Compliant epoxy coating system designed for maximum resistance to chemical spillage and immersion, heavy industrial traffic and elevated temperatures.

100% solids, odorless, USDA-accepted clear or colored floor coatings Also available in 90% solids (500S-90) for easy handling and low cost. Withstands a wide range of chemical exposures.

FLEXI-BOND 540 is a two component, 100% solids, moisture-insensitive epoxy bonding agent. Application of FLEXI-BOND 540 to wet or dry, properly prepared substrates assures tenacious adhesion of new toppings, patching compounds and tile bedding mortars when used in accordance with instructions. It may also be applied to steel, tile, wood and fiberglass. It can be used as a combination waterproof barrier and bonding agent when applying new concrete toppings over old concrete. It can be used to improve adhesion of tile bedding mortars to existing concrete, or may be used directly for tile bedding in combination with very fine sand. It can be used to prime and waterproof steel reinforcement prior t application of patching compounds or concrete pouring while improving adhesion of these materials. It can be used to penetrate and consolidate low strength floors , such as asbestos-cement or cinder concrete, and to improve adhesion of new toppings or patching compounds to same. It can be used to promote adhesion of concrete, bedding mortars or toppings to non-cementitious substrate, such as tile, plywood decking, or steel plate.

Marine-FLEX 570 Underwater Grade/Submersible Epoxy is a 100% solids, medium viscosity, moisture insensitive epoxy coating intended for heavy marine and wet industrial exposures. Marine-FLEX 570 CAN BE APPLIED UNDERWATER, as well as on wet, damp or dry concrete or steel surfaces exposed to air
