A highly successful exterior restoration was completed in 2001 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington, Kentucky.
A variety of Edison Coatings products were used, including a Custom System 45 Limestone patch #191D-LC,
Custom System 45 Terra Cotta patch #108-TC, a custom Spec Joint 46
lime-based repointing mortar, and a custom matched Elastowall 351 breathable elastomeric coating.
Work was completed by Trisco Systems, Inc.
of Lima, Ohio, a full-service restoration contractor with dozens of certified Edison mechanics and an Edison Coatings installer for over 15 years. The Trisco team was led by Brian Walter, Bob Vollmer and Pete Runyon.
KZF Design, Inc.
of Cincinnati prepared specifictions, elaborate photo-documents and drawings for the project. The Design Project Team was led by Michael Smith, Project Manager and Charlie Kemp, Project Architect.
